Wellesley College Friends of Art is an engaged group of passionate alumnae, community advocates, and art patrons, who, through annual membership, support exhibitions, acquisitions, and educational programs at the Davis Museum. Friends of Art chapters in Austin/Houston, Boston, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles/Pasadena, and Washington D.C. bring alumnae, parents, and friends closer to Wellesley and to the Davis by offering unique arts-related events. Members receive exclusive access or discounted pricing to Friends of Art events that take place throughout the year.

Join Friends of Art by visiting our website. Contributions are tax-deductible, and eligible for corporate matching gift programs. All alumnae donations count toward Wellesley gift totals- including class reunion gifts, and membership in the Durant Society.

Patrons Trip
In June 2018, Friends of Art Patrons traveled to “New Germany” with Davis director Lisa Fischman and key Davis staff, for insider views of Dresden, Leipzig, Dessau and Berlin, as well as a studio visit with print artist Christiane Baumgartner, whose work headlined the Fall 2018 exhibitions at the Davis.

Recent Acquisitions
In 2018, three works were accessioned into the Davis’s collection with funds contributed by Friends of Art. Figure, Ground, Background 2 by Justine Hill and Drunkard's Path by Amanda Valdez were featured in the fall 2018 New Acquisitions: Paintings exhibition in the Friends of Art Gallery at the Davis.
